OBJECTIVE, ETHICS CONTENTS AND JOBS INEA INTENDS

Excerpts from the association by-laws:


INEA is a non-profit organization, with prevailing interests in solidarity and cultural aggregation. These interests concern the protection of the environment and of historic, archaeological and landscape heritage.

INEA main goals:

• Defining, organizing, developing, and diffusing (the subject of) environmental education: its themes, methods, instruments and professionals.
• Defining and professionalizing the naturalist interpreter and the environmental educator, as experts of communication and didactics applied to environmental protection and historic, archaeological and landscape heritage.
• Promoting the development of behaviours and a culture of respect and attention towards the natural, historic, archaeological and landscape heritage of Italy.
• Developing and making the most of endangered natural areas, protected areas, historic and archaeological sites, and the landscape of Italy, in a perspective of communication, education and correct use (and enjoyment) of resources.
• Facilitating the use (and enjoyment) of the natural, historic and archaeological heritage and landscape by a growing number of people, paying the closest attention to the disabled, the young, and the disadvantaged social layers.
